Real Estate

  • S. Horowitz & Co. has one of the largest real estate practices in Israel.  The firm undertakes all types of projects, from construction of major infrastructure projects to the acquisition of flagship properties and retail developments, and from project tenders to property finance.  We also have a strong real estate and construction dispute practice that has extensive experience handling high value and complex real estate and construction related disputes.

Our clients include public and private developers, construction companies, contractors, civil engineers, government-owned power and energy companies, lenders and borrowers, landlords and tenants, as well as municipalities, public institutions, kibbutzim and moshavim.  In addition to domestic and multinational companies, many of the firm’s clients are foreign corporations intending to acquire or invest in Israeli real estate or to lease premises as a base for their operations in Israel.

Being a full-service commercial law firm enables us to assemble, on short notice, a highly-qualified team with the appropriate skills (in real estate, tax planning, environment and corporate) necessary to handle the full range of property transactions. Our areas of expertise include all aspects of real estate acquisition and financing, tenders, PFI and BOT projects, commercial and construction agreements, zoning and land use, property taxation, leasing of business premises for both local and foreign clients, handling negotiations with the Israel Lands Authority and assistance with compliance programs relating to land use, health and safety regulations and environmental laws.
