Although the economy focuses the rights owners on target markets, it nonetheless frequently dictates the setting up of production and storage sites in other territories. All of these call for meticulous planning and coordination when implementing strategy for the enforcement of patents, and preparation in advance. Our firm, in collaboration with KPMG, the Washington law firm Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox, the London law firm, Mishcon de Reya LLP and the German law firm, VOSSIUS & PARTNER Partner, hosted a unique seminar this week attended by leading figures in the hi-tech and biotech industry. Members on the various panels included also Adv. Tal Band, Chair of our firm's Intellectual Practice Group and Adv. Anthony Bloch, Chair of our firm's Corporate and Commercial Practice Group. The discussion focused on intellectual property strategies, dealing with global challenges in patent protection, as well as M&A transactions.
