Moran Katz’s varied practice encompasses Intellectual Property, regulation of pharmaceuticals, medical devices and other products, product liability and gaming law. She advises on a wide spectrum of intellectual property matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including the creation, commercial exploitation, protection and enforcement of trademarks, copyright, patents, designs and trade secrets.
On the regulatory side of her practice, Moran advises and represents companies in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors on matters ranging from the mandatory requirements applicable to clinical trials to the registration, licensing and marketing of their products with the Israel Ministry of Health.
Moran is also an expert on product liability law, acting on behalf of manufacturers and distributors throughout the stringent regulatory product recall processes before local authorities and defending, in court, product liability claims (including class actions). She advises and represents leading international manufacturers across a considerable range of industries, including pharmaceutical, aviation and transportation, industrial products, consumer products and other high and low tech applications. Moran also has significant expertise in representing domestic and international entities in commercial litigation and dispute resolution, including in contractual disputes with respect to ownership over intellectual property and licensing of IP rights, and enforcement and termination of distribution, agency and representation agreements.
